Meet Dr. Siegel

Pain Center of NJ is a specialized pain management practice led by medical director Ira Siegel, MD, that uses advanced, non-surgical techniques to resolve a variety of musculoskeletal pain conditions. With six conveniently located offices in West Orange, Bayonne, Union City, Ridgefield, Edison, and Union, New Jersey, patients suffering from problems like auto injuries, back pain, neck pain, sports injuries, and failed back surgery syndrome can receive prompt, expert diagnosis and treatment.

Dr. Siegel has been a board-certified physician since 1989. Dr. Siegel received his medical degree at The State University of New York at Stony Brook, New York. He then completed a residency at NYU Langone Medical Center in Manhattan, New York City, followed by a fellowship in 1988.

Dr. Siegel practices personalized and comprehensive patient care and specializes in treating painful spinal disorders and injuries, including helping patients with conditions that are subject to workers' compensation claims. He believes in addressing the root cause of his patient's pain rather than covering it up with prescription painkillers. Treating musculoskeletal pain using powerful medications offers patients no long-term solutions to their discomfort and disability and often adds to their problems with unpleasant, sometimes dangerous side effects and the risk of addiction.

At Pain Center of NJ, the focus is on using physical therapies to ease pain and encourage healing, with injectable treatments for patients with more persistent pain. Dr. Siegel uses advanced image guidance technology to deliver a range of steroid and local anesthetic injections, including trigger point injections, epidural steroid injections, transforaminal injections, and facet joint injections.

To benefit from Dr. Siegel's experience and expertise in treating musculoskeletal injuries and chronic pain, call Pain Center of NJ today or book an appointment online.
